Deuteronomy 15:4 We must show love to our neighbors especially when they are not able to pay back not just to those that we will gain from in Jesus Amen.
Deuteronomy 15:4 By the plan of God, nobody should be poor. Poverty is not a creation of God but the creation of sin and man’s laziness. The ideal situation is that everyone should be well to do. Anywhere you see poverty, God is not involved. The promise and blessings of God are for all. When it comes to financial prosperity, God does not a favorite.
Deuteronomy 16:12 Slavery has terrible effect on people and to break the mindset, God instituted the decree to ensure that the people do not continue to see themselves as slaves.
Never withhold good to anyone that you have the capacity of doing good unto
Deuteronomy 15:21 Whenever you are giving to God, it must be something worthy
Deuteronomy 15:12-13 If people has served you well, treat them well, don’t leave them empty.
We must always trust God no matter what, He will always come through for you. He hates idolatry and anything you create is lesser than you and must never be worshipped.
Deuteronomy 16:21 Spiritual prostitution could be subtle; there are things we must not get involved in the moment you give your life to Christ.
Deuteronomy 16:2 Our sacrifice is unto God and we must follow His prescription on the designated place of offering it. It is not in our place to administer it.
Deuteronomy 16:16 We must understand the importance of giving and sacrificing to God. We must endeavor to give to God from the place of love.
Deuteronomy 16:11 Points to the categories of people God is reminding us to always take care of.
God appointed some feast for Israel as time markers
Deuteronomy 16:One of the things that determines prosperity in the land is Justice. Even a Godly man can be swayed by bribe. When you are in a position to make decisions, don’t accept gift First from the person before giving making the decision so that you are not swayed in your judgment.
This is also applicable in choosing a life partner, marital future are mortgage on the altar of gifting.
If you want to live long in the land the Lord your God has given you, let justice and fairness prevail. If the throne of God is sustained by justice, in everything we do, we must ensure that is sustained by justice.
As a debtor, it is also an act of integrity to always explain to your creditor your inability to pay the loan. We can’t keep quiet or be evasive.
