BIBLE READING: ISAIAH 2:1-3; MICAH 4:1-2; REVELATION 5:1-12; REVELATION 11:15
“Favoured and Holy are those who have a share in the First Resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be the priests of God and of Christ, and will rule with Him for One Thousand Years.” Revelation 20:6(Common English Bible)
The Primary Motive that prompted the Sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ upon the Cross was a Total Redemption and nothing less. When He was about giving up the Ghost, He said “It is finished…” (Jn. 19:30), referring to the Price for the Redemption of both Mankind and his environment being paid in full i.e., from the Greek Word “Tetelestai.” The Lord did this so that of a Truth He would be known as the Lord of all (Phil. 2:9-11). When Jesus was tempted by the devil in the wilderness after His Forty Day Fast, the latter made Him an offer of all the kingdoms of this world: “Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, SHOWED HIM ALL THE KINGDOMS OF THE WORLD IN A MOMENT OF TIME” (Lk. 4:5).
The Greek term translated into the English word “kingdoms” is “basileia”, a word which literally means “realm or rule.” This simply means that satan (quite contrary to orthodox belief) didn’t actually show the Lord Jesus literal kingdoms, empires or nations with clearly defined geographical boundaries. The tempter essentially offered Jesus the Seven Mountains of Society or the Seven Major Realms of Influence (Rev. 5:12) on only one premise or condition: That He would worship him. However, the Lord would never even imagine compromising the Divine Process involved in redeeming the aforementioned kingdoms, a Process which MUST be passed through.
According to Psalm 110:1, the only way His enemies can become His Footstool in reality is when He receives the following from the Church, thereby empowering us to reign forever with Him:
(1.) Power: This is obtained on the Mountain of Government or Politics (Isa. 9:6-7).
(2.) Riches: This is obtained on the Mountain of Economy or Business (Phil. 4:19).
(3.) Wisdom: This is obtained on the Mountain of Education (Isa. 54:13).
(4.) Strength: This is obtained on the Mountain of Family i.e., the Social Mountain (Mal. 4:5-6).
(5.) Honour: This is obtained on the Mountain of Worship or Religion (Jn. 4:23-24).
(6.) Glory: This is obtained on the Mountain of Celebration of Arts and Entertainment (Ps. 16:11).
(7.) Blessing: This is obtained on the Mountain of Communication or Media (Isa. 52:7)
The Grand Master Plan of the Lord God Almighty is that the kingdoms of this world would truly become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ in reality after Christian believers arise as revivalists and reformers (Rev. 11:15). He is counting on us to bring the Total Influence of Christianity and the Kingdom of God upon these Seven Mountains of Society.
PRAYER:
Heavenly Father, we appreciate You for the Power of Your Total Redemption. O Lord, please help us take our place as the Body of Christ as we leverage on the gains of the End Time Revival by possessing the Seven Realms of Society for the Sake of the Kingdom in Jesus’ Mighty Name. Amen.
